qemu-launcher software package provides GTK+ front-end to QEMU computer emulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qemu-launcher
qemu-launcher is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qemu-launcher package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qemu-launcher *
You will get with qemu-launcher package name, version, architecture and description in a table
